PARENT MEMO 24: February 16, 2022
Dear St. Patrick Catholic School Families,
Saint Patrick Catholic School will fall in line with the Cumberland County Schools and move to
mask recommended on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Please complete this questionnaire so
that the faculty and staff know your preference for your child(ren).
Please know that if our numbers start to rise, the school will return to mask mandatory policy. If your
child does test positive, your child will have to stay home for 10 days or stay home for 5 days and
wear a mask to school indoor and outdoor for 5 days. Children that are exposed to someone that
has tested positive will also have to wear a mask to school for 10 days but can remain in school so
long as they are symptom free.
Please fill out the following form to let the school know if you would like your child to continue
wearing a mask or not.
Please look for information on reenrollment that was emailed on Friday, February 4th. The
reenrollment period for current students goes to the end of the month.
LENTEN COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
We will have two projects to participate in during Lent. The first is a baby shower for Catholic
Charities. See attached flier. The class that collects the most items will earn a pizza party. The
rest of the school will earn a free dress down day for participating.
The second Lenten project is Rice Bowl. More information to come on this.
Both service projects are completely optional, but we encourage families to participate in one
or the other as a part of the alms giving during Lent.
SAINT PATRICK DAY CELEBRATION
We are excited to announce our plans for our Saint Patrick Day Celebration on March 17th. This
day will include attending 9:00 Mass and having a parade with police escort. The students will
be allowed to dress in green.

Earlier this year Pope Francis called on the entire Church to begin a synod process. Synod is a
Greek word meaning, “journeying together.”
Bishop Luis is inviting everyone in our diocese, including those no longer affiliated with the
Church, to provide feedback through an online questionnaire. Following the survey process,
which begins this week, in-person meetings will be held throughout the diocese to help the
Church hear the voices of the Holy Spirit and of its people.
